I would like to say thanks to the following,

Hpg factory team for allowing me to play for them Top blokes and great team.

To Impact for the games otherwise i would have been stood around all day doing nothing.

and lastly to Upminster halloween thank you all and i hope you had a great weekend . Take this week end with you and build on it you have it in all of you to be a great team .

Marshalls you were all great .

It was good to catch up with some old faces such as marsbar, jinks, Syd, luke and others we may only get to see each other at events like this but its worth the travel.

I just want to second everything that has been said so far, this was a really good event and everyone from the marshals, staff and players made sure there was a good atmosphere.

A few small hic-ups with the set up areas on Sunday, but that was the club's mistake.

Also it would be even better if the fields were more up to date versions, but hey we all need to be challenged!

Congratulations to the winners, hope to see everyone around soon.

From a marshall's point of view...

I'd like to say a massive thanks to all the players for making marshalling this weekend a pleasure.

There were - of course one or two "heated" conversations but literally one or two (I'd be disapointed if I did't get at least 1 ). Definately the best event I have ever marshalled. It had to be said - all of us on field 1 were preparing for the worst on Sunday morning - our tempers were somewhat frayed from sitting in the rain at stupid o'clock rebuilding the weather damage, and we could certainly see quite a few unhappy looking players....as it turned out, just about everyone thanked us for still being there whilst coming on the fields in the rain and thanked us for a good job going off the field, it's only a tiny thing but it really does make the whole job more enjoyable.

Lastly, big up to the rest of the guys on Field 1. We had a riot between games, but got focused during play...couldn't have been better. Oh and to Marsbar and Bigface for helping out during the finals!

A big thanks to the guy who helped my player out (Greg) regarding his eye incident, top guy and Greg says a big thanks for the eye wash and the eye is much better now.
Thanks also to Alex from Fire and Ice for taking Gregs place in our next game. Greg was able to play our remaining games.

Thanks to all the marshals and of course Syd for organising such a great event.

As for the netting I am sure Syd will get it sorted for next time.

Have to agree with everything which has been posted, absolutely fantastic sportsmanship, excellent marshalling, quality venue. Not one bad thing to say really, maybe the weather? Big up to Dan, Craig & Tom from Jabberwocky for their first game sunday 3 on 7 & come away with a win, after losing a player on the break. FANTASTIC !!!!!! Thanks to everyone in FIRE & ICE Lump(el capitano !), Nige, Longie, Bluey, Jules, Matt & Liam. Brilliant team-mates with great sportsmanship. Thanks to all our opponents for some cracking games. Last but by no means least cheers to my wife Lyn for everything else (You're the Best & I Love You !) Sorry if this makes anyone sick but had to be said. Has anyone got the overall results from sunday? please. Would of stayed but had to get home to see the dog, as we could'nt bring her with us.
