I would just like to say what a top event this was and i will defentley be coming back next year to play.

The astro turf was a lot better than i thought it would be. The marshalling was A1 as far as i was concerned especially with having to p*ss around getting the fields ready on the sunday morning in the rain.

Bit dissapointed sein sum teams go home cos of the rain. They must of been kicking themselves on the way home.

Lots of thanks to the marshalls, h-pac, the rest of the teams and a big thanks to syd for running the event. It just gets better every year.

I also thought the marshalling was superb. Organisation was spot-on.

My only complaint is that the tunnel leading to fields 1, 2 and 3 should have been a "Goggles-on" area.

i tottally agree with you on the goggles 1. some guy had some paint go in his eye on day 2 !

i think my team done well imo. 1st ever tourney, been a team for 5 months. id like to say thanks to every1 for the great weekend. and hopefully, we'll meet again next year

Great event, great time had by all the guys on my team.

Those teams that threw in the towel, at the time I could not blame you in any way.

The weather on site was terrible from about 3am Sunday morning leading to a few tents not being as waterproof as their occupants had hoped.

But when the captains meeting had asked if any team was concerned I am sure we all had our doubts, however only an hour later the teams were playing on the fields in better conditions than on the Saturday PM.

All the rain had cleaned the first days paint of the astroturf leaving better grip and better slidding conditions.

Shame you missed it guys, but thanks for the bye.

Deffinatley see you there next year.

The netting was a point of concern, spray was constantly getting through and the odd balls as well. Waiting to get onto the JT field meant getting it from both sides with the pro-tour, which was frustrating. Wiping goggles so you can see clearly just before getting on field wasn't my idea of fun.

Having said that the marshalling and the surface was excellent, having played 12 games I think there was only 1 call that we had a problem with, so hats off to them because it really was a breath of fresh air.

Definitely a fun event, can't ask for much more than that.

maybe next year they could put the netting on the inside of the fields and not on the outside of the fencing. this might have stopped a few balls breaking and covering everyone with paint before their games.

Unfortunately we were one of the teams that pulled out on the Sunday as we couldnt afford injuries.

Guys just so you know Syd is still hard at work on the clean up and prob wont be back online till wed night thursday earliest!

Once back and fully upto date he will look at any contructive points about the netting etc for next years event.

This event will only get better!
