Hey Richard, York uni have got a team together and hopefully the rest of the kit we need will arrive from planet tomorrow. But we will be the team in rag tag skanky student clothes cos we cant afford playing tops (ANY SPONSORS READING THIS :) ). Would be cool to have a chat (finally) and maybe sort out some joint practice stuff

See you on 17th

Well there is a Paintball club at UWE Bristol. I know being the one who organises it for the past 3 years. I do also know that Bristol uni have gone paintballing before, not sure if they have a club going...

As for teams have a look at http://www.southwestpaintball.co.uk/
they should be able to help.

Hiya mate!

I only saw that you actually mentioned me just now, for which I apologise.
I'm afraid I can't be of much help in this situation, because I have no clue how these student sports things are organised in the UK. Over here in Holland we do it real easy, it just doesn't exist! (which kinda sucks, since I started out playing back when I was still a student and dinosaurs still roamed the earth).
Anyway, from the looks of it, I would say that you have plenty to work with at the moment, so all I can do is just wish you the best of luck!

Peace.

Your running a tournament?

So are we (Durham Paintball Society)!

There seems little sense in us both running a tournament, since we require there to be a tournament. Do you have a site? Do you have kit to lend other teams? We have these two at least, and a date planned and a list of interested teams. Don't get me wrong I'm not saying "This tournament ain't big enough for the two of us" if you are interested in running a tournament, dy'a want to join forces? Email me

wow chill winston!
I've been told the Uk is quite a big place.
It will take months of preperation and at the moment is way too far for me to think about.
I'm more interested in getting people to join the society first and play some games. Then i might start planning a tournament.
And if i do then i'll let you know.
We might even be able to start a university paintball league?
And the answer to you question of "do you have kit etc"
Yep used to work on a paintball site so just need to get in contact with the owner again and organise a deal
hope thats relaxed you
cheers
