Look and feel ( www.lookandfeel.com ) has to be the best website in my view, pretty, quite simple, but entertaining, but they are a design company afterall.

1) Are you colour blind?

yes.

2) Do you have any kind of disablility that makes it harder to use the computer?

Lazyness and the fact I am using one 16 hours a day pretty much :)

3) What colours do you think works well in a website

Black and white, blue, not pink or yellow or red text EVER!

4) what is your prefered method of navigation? ( buttons, fancy menus, a frame on the left with links on the right etc.)

As much as possible with the mouse. I have fast keys for going back etc on the mouse. Having to drag the mouse back to the top of the screen for navigating is a pain. I like bulletin boards where you can navigate from the top or the bottom of the page for speed. speed is the key, if more complex = speed then it's worth it.

5) What would you prefer fast and simple or pretty and complex.

fast, and pretty please, along with easy/rapid navigation.

6) What Screen size do you use?

effing huge. I run a CAD/CAM company and have the screen resolution up at 1400 X 1050.

7) what number of colours do you use?

True colour (32 bit)

8) What browser do you use?

microsoft internet explorer.

No
3) What colours do you think works well in a website
no more than 4 well-matched colours, plus a contrasting darker colour for text
4) what is your prefered method of navigation? ( buttons, fancy menus, a frame on the left with links on the right etc.)
Simple menu down the side or across the top.
NOT stupid target cursors, NOT "mystery meat" rollovers... Not a great fan of Flash interfaces either... :(, but www.lookandfeel.com and www.2advanced.com are two examples of nice looking Flash interfaces...

5) What would you prefer fast and simple or pretty and complex.
depends on the site content. functional/informational sites should be fast and simple. Flashy brochure sites can do what they like...
6) What Screen size do you use?
1400x1050 (on my laptop :D) but 1152x864 mostly on my other computers, but I think web sites should work well down to 800x600

32bit

Bloke

By the way, my company have recently been asked by a large UK institution to look into ways of improving their company intranet, and one thing I've noticed partially sighted people often do is whenever they come across a page that has mainly black text on white background, they hit CTRL-A to select the whole page, thus making it white on blue, which must be easier for them to read.

Also as already mentioned, the RNIB site has a wealth of information about how to make things accessible to the partially sighted.
