if you can't bring your marker in your bags with you I too would advise selling it before you get here, it will cost you about $200AUD to post it since it is classed as a firearm in aus and will have to be transported as such and really an EGO 7 is not worth spending that much money on putting in the mail.

You are exempt from import duty as it is you are transporting your own property to the UK. Just make sure it does look like your own goods, and mark it posted from you to you.

You also have the option of putting it in your luggage when you fly, but that could be difficult depending on the airline.

i suppose the easiest thing to do... which probably isn't easy though would be to contact the customs in OZ and just ask them whether or not you could take the stuff through customs if it was all securely placed in your non-hand luggage.

worst thing they can say is that it is not allowed and then you have your answer.

My tank is a Luxfer P11F-9 68/4500 Carbon Fiber Wrap. Which as far as I know is legal worldwide(?)

Im still leaning towards posting it to myself, as my travel plans are not direct from Aussie to UK.

Aussie customs isn't the problem, I've traveled between Aussie & NZ plenty of times, so I know its not an issue to have paintball markers in checked luggage, but thanks for the idea anyway.
