Since Pete has "his" money and the gun is still in Ireland, how about sending the money for shipping/handling/hassle to Ireland and the balance to Breakwell? That way the gun can be shipped back to him at no cost to the sender and there can be not even the slightest hint of wrongdoing on our part... Obviously less fun than watching Breakwell die of a conniption, but we'll be so far up on the moral high ground, it's ridiculous.
That's a flawed argument I think. I believe that breakwell should only receive his marker back. If i've got this right,
breakwell sells marker receives money. + £120
Shipping of marker ridiculous not to mention the state of it.
Pete stumps up cash to Mark D = -£120
breakwell eventually stumps up "refund" to Pete so Pete now back to £0 breakwell = -£120 + - 1 marker.
return of marker at breakwell's cost leaves him where he started minus his shipping costs. to send him the marker and the balance would leave him in profit ie he has marker + £balance where he only started with marker?
Or am i missing something here?
