Spring for a decent wireless hook-up and use digital cameras, perfectly adequate for online display anyway, and it's not only no hardship it's simple.
It gets tougher when you're doing all the above and playing, too. Ahem, 26. :p :)
In the US, there's no such thing as a "decent" wireless rig. If you get Verizon, some areas have high spped, but anywhere else it's 2x modem speed at best.

And, these guys are on the field all day taking photos, and then also have to go to al lthe vendor tents, and upload ****, and watch the important games, and then actually write the articles. And eat and sleep sometime.

Show me where in the Geneva Convention it says they have to eat and sleep?

Seriously, are you trying to bankrupt us, or cause a revolt? Our writers and photographers are lucky to work for he Glory that is PGI...they should be paying us for the privilege.

Eat and sleep...go back to Russia, and take your communist ideals with you, hippy.

I don't know about the US but here in Florida it ain't no big thing.

And I note that while you're wondering just what happened to Docs etc. over in my SYB thread about HB you don't seem to think the peeps whose job it is to report on the events are accountable for all the things they don't know or don't tell. Would you figure ESPN was doing its job if it failed to mention that a brawl broke out between players and fans at an NBA game? Of course not. To paraphrase Yoda it ain't about trying it's about doing or not doing.

Obviously the full story will be in PGI...that is if the writers aren't too busy eating or sleeping or any other of those new fangledhoity toity ideas Comrade Chicago seems intent on bringing in.

PGI is the opium of the masses, apparently.

Actually, if it wasn't for my playing I would've missed more than I did! Sadly, the majority of my time was spent on the asphalt track around vendors' row (I only subbed in for Friday afternoon, Dillweed).
Relax, Monkey Boy. We's talking 'bout "live" reporting, not print. Oh, wait . . .

Brainy Von Brainiac at your service

I will be happy to hep 26 do his job 'cus he's mucho busy doing a dozen things or more at every event and manages, out of the kindness of his heart--or so he told me--to post event reports here in the News. I see all the NXL matches anyway and since 26 found it so helpful to be a player/reporter in HB I'll offer him a spot in a pit crew for the duration. Not as good but best I can do . . . :)
