Pete did say about uk teams not getting in the top 5! So he was right.Originally posted by Chicago
Robbo should write a multi-article series about how English teams can't compete more often.
Incidentally, the results I'm looking at indicate Nexus (And the other Euros) won't make semis, but still a darned good showing. (well, at this second, it's still technically possible for Joy to make it)
The problem is, all of the paintball media outlets are poor and understaffed. In most cases, the person taking the photos is also doing the reporting. It's possibly a job worse than reffing. There just isn't enough time to do it all.Originally posted by Steve Morris
When are we ever going to get decent event reporting? It's the morning after the event and the official final results aren't even posted yet. Not very professional IMO.
Is it simply uninteresting for the PB media folks or the event organizers to set a priority to reporting major events?
A live pay-for-viewing Webcam from the pro field is a step in the right direction--if it worked (Did it? Past experience showed very low quality and no way to know who was playing.)
As has been said many times before, all it takes is someone with a mobile phone over there and someone on this side to post results. I'd be glad to volunteer if I could put together a way to cover the expenses.
Nonsense. What you really mean is there isn't enough time to hang out, party, enjoy the event and do the job you supposedly went there to do in the first place. Spring for a decent wireless hook-up and use digital cameras, perfectly adequate for online display anyway, and it's not only no hardship it's simple.Originally posted by Chicago
