why would electros be illegal? As long as they can only fire semi then they are not illegal. As for the RT as only one ball is fired per trigger pull then it is legal. Basically if you pull on the trigger and keep pressure on it and only one ball comes out the end of your barrel ( ok i know about double feeding but that is not intentional) then the marker is legal.

OK, the bl00dy wind has woken me up FAR too early.

Because every electro can be programmed (or re-prgrammed) to fire full auto. Admittedly some of them it's easier than others - but that are ALL "capable". So like I said it all depends on the legal interpretation of "capable" in the context of that over 2 shots = full auto bit.

Indeed, just with bounce every non optical electro is "capable" of 2 shots per pull.

I don't agree with it, and I don't want this to tested in court. But to say that an Emarker is outside the law and and Angel/Timmy etc aint just isn't possible.

And I have been in a company where we got done for several billions pounds just because some law lords decided on an interpretation of the words "resonable expectation" which, to be frank wasn't what most people would have agreed with. So I am all too well aware that you CAN'T make the judgement on the law and the wording of it unless you have it tested in court.

thoughtless person....

thanks mate just lost another sale thanks to your idiotic post. Do you really know the facts or were you speculating?? Facts are facts, hearsay is just a band.( which means hearsay is not fact.) Always make sure you know what you are talking about. Is there a definite ruling on the use or ownership of e-markers?? My marker is able to be locked, eg. A chip is removed from the circut board, making any mode other than semi impossible. It also prevents the marker from shooting over 10 balls per second. R u going to buy my marker now??? 'cos now that your thoughtless post has ruined my chance of selling it....

I'm sorry but this post is not idiotic, your advertising of a marker with enhanced firing modes to people in the UK is!!!

Why not just disable the modes and sell it as semi auto only? The modes can't be used in this country anyway so why have it on/advertise it?
Also put in the ad that the marker will only be semi auto to sales in the UK!

Which is more thoughtless this post advising people or selling a marker that is illigal to use in the UK?

Selous mate I did not intent to upset you. In fact I stated in my post that I gave you warning that you were selling something quite illegal. In fact your marker could get you 10 years in prison.

OR more to the point whoever you sell the marker to could get ten years. i spent a very boring afternoon looking for these facts and sorry but its not speculation or opinion but facts so please do not be rude. If you want a list of web sites then feel free to ask.

I am trying my best to ensure that paintball is not harmed. So please dont think I am being an ArSe. And if you do not like me posting facts to stop others from getting in trouble then suck my b@lls

Havoc paintball is not only selling fully auto paintball guns, he's also selling thunderflashes. So what you may ask, well he's sending them through the post which is illegal, maybe someone should tell him it is illegal to send explosives through the post. I wonder if he is finding out who he is sending them to. How many 12 year olds have bought them.
It is this type of irresponsible behaviour that will give paintball a bad name.
