Has anyone used the APEX barrel??

i have an sp1 ... i have been told thou that APEX have made a barrel that is compatible with the freak kit

so was looking at doin that think ill just get freak first thou
and go from there

The Apex is kinder to paint than the flat line in my experience. Flat line can rag it a bit. Also, cleaning out a flat line if you get a break is a drama.

I wouldn't take too much notice of all the 'shooting around corners' stuff as in reality it doesn't happen. But it does give you range if that's what you're after and it is kind on paint.

Been using one for a couple of years.

Seemed to shoot round corners when I used it. Worked well, people were coming up to us after matches saying that it felt like they were getting shot at from the sidelines.

i have just spoken to the guy at warped bout this and he did say u can curl the balls behind trees and stuff but he also said that by the time u had adjusted the barrel the bloke had moved... lol im just gonna get a uni tek instead cant be done with having a 4 part barrel

also he thinks that its a bit of a gimmic .. i doubt he would lie as i was about to hand him 50 quid lol

Very true, but I just set it to shoot left ways round corners, and ran back right on a supair field. Was only really useful in either corner, and pretty annoying if you got up close, but great fun

I wouldnt buy one though.

I've got a cocker threaded apex that I check on my etek every once in a while just for a laugh, it does curve your shots to some extent and you get the extra range. Damn noisy though.
