That is very true mate and if all markers are caped at 15bps what does it matter I can sort most things with a Ion out in 5 mins. I don't think much of stock Ion's but with some upgrades they can be great. And I get a bit of fun out of doing them up.

so what tip of paintballer does that make me:p ions = cheapo/newbie Not me ;)
I'd say brave mate :D ;)

I haven’t a problem with ions, well... actually... yeah I do I cannot lie. I have tried them mate I just cannot stand how they are put together. I think they have been a wonderful commodity to the industry making tournament level equipment much more accessible however they are just so damn ugly inside. I mean you open up the hood and rather than a V8 you're feasting your eyes on a scooter motor held together with ducktape and chewing gum (granted thats a bit of an exaggeration). But I wont turn this thread into another ion lover/hater debate, I'll just say I do like them, I just dont like them. :D

Nerd? You and me both mate:eek:

Plus I see no mention of Vikings/Excals, Quests, Minis, Pumps, etc etc and calling cocker owners sheep might place them in danger from certain elements in UK paintball:(
