rate of fire on spyder with lecky frame.

you could put an elctronic trigger on any marker which will allow the user to pull the trigger at astronomical rates of fire.
but (big but) if the mechanicals of the valve will not opperate at that rate, then the marker will not cycle properly.
giving rise to drop off, chopping and ultimatly over work leading to fatigue on the parts and failiure of the said parts.
in short cheaper price comes at a price.
cheaper matirials, workman ship and lower quality all around.
not wanting to sound pompus or slate the spyder but you can only polish a turd so much before it breaks up.
if simplicity in the construction is what you want get a mag.
minimal moving parts (sear on off valve bolt) means minimal wear.
price is low on these nowadays too. and the aftermarket upgrades is emdless if thats your cup of tea.
nuff waffeling.

thats just my 2 cents.

Think of it like this:
I could make the choice to purchase and drive a Ford Mustang, a decent car that would serve it's purpose, and add a few modifications which would improve the overall performance. Or, I could spend more and get a Ferrari with no mods. Hmmmmm...
Cocker. Yeah, I know that we're talking a whole different price range, but it's all relative and basically the same question.

the point of a car is to get from point A to point B.who cares if u add a couple few stupid things it still gets u there right?there is only a few ways to propel a ball through a hole and hit someone.what is the difference between an em1 and an e-mag.well one is more flashy, complicated and about 3 times as much.that is about it.i think cockers are stupid.i ask my friend,"why are you paying 750$ for a semi with a nice namelike sto autococker ?" he replies ".....ummmm ummmm it is more accurate then your em1.."no it isnt the gun doesnt make accuracy its your barrel mainly. and its only semi.some of my friends can hardly believe people pay 120 for a semi.i wonder what they would think of paying 750 for a semi that is just as good mabee even worse.when a cocker breaks u rush to the paintball store as fast as you can.when your spyder breaks u take it apart and relize your problem and fix it.

long story short:a spyder shoots a ball in a straight line and an autocoker shoots a ball in a straight line.

please someone prove me wrong.go ahead.i would live to be wrong.mabee i am.probly not:)

Here's something you Brits can appreciate...Would you rather drive an Aston Martin (THE last completely hand made car with plenty o' extra parts) or a VW bug (hey if she breaks, it's easy to find parts). They both you get you from A to B, but that's not what goes through the mind of most paintballers I know. You gotta choose the gun that speaks to you, it's spiritual. I don't understand people that can't develop some attachement. It's sad, like ole yeller.

I agree with spyder. The spyder, stock or modified is a more reliable gun than an autococker, anyway you slice it. Comparing the two guns modified or not, the spyder will always be more reliable I know, i have owned both, and tricked them both from a stock level, to a kickass level. The cocker hands down beats the spyder performance wise, it just kicks ass. But, the cocker will run into more problems easily. Sometimes they can be fixed quick, othertimes, you need a airsmith. Timing, regulator pressure (the in-line, or the other one), trigger pull. Anything can go wrong. The spyder basically just gasses up, and plays. The cocker is better, and worth trouble shooting, but a spyder is usually more reliable

why is a spyder **** from the experiences of john clayton

why is a spyder **** from the experiences of john clayton

  • It is a very unstable firing platform
  • you chop balls in the gun alot, especially in cold weather cos the powerfeed allows teh cold and rain get to the balls
  • you feel really bad when you rob your team of vital points when you shoot 400fps over the chorno
  • you spend so much on a gun and realise, its still a peice fo ****

this story has a happy endin though, i now have an angel LCD:D :D :D :D :D
