Players have always looked for ways of increasing their Velocity over LEGAL and SAFE levels...From thumbing Autocockers..nicking reg seals in Automags ...Hiding bits of dialers in squeeges
The problems now is that it Takes more than a Good Chrono judge to find these Cheats (a Engineering Technicion with A bloody big laptop able to download guns chips) Might just doit
The marker technology has run away from the ability to Monitor and control it !!!
Add to these problems Faster rates of Fire ...More aggresive plays...and shorter Fields.. People are getting HURT and when this happens to one of the many 12-14 year olds who are sneaking into events then we are Going to all be In the Papers
(Organisers and Individuals May end Up in court)
Compulsory Safety Gear to a legal standard might be the answer
Everyone laughed at barrel socks when they first appeared(whilst sticking Sharp ill fitting barrel plugs that shot out if fired into there barrels)

The Blood thing was through a rupture between his lung and his stomach?? Was due to wretching too hard.. Concussion screwed all the balancing up in his brain and caused serious vomiting Was a bit scary to see man.. Glad everyone is well now!! Somehow I don't think this is going to make people stop with the ramping boards so I'd love to hear how the organisers are thinking of combating it for next season??
do the guys in the pro tour get chronied on to the feilds at all ? i only ask coz at the welsh, while at the chrono 3 guys ,from 2 "pro teams", came in and were 315-320s . they did dial them down a bit but were still hot when they left. i know the feilds are bigger but i was so happy that the Masters was 280 max, especialy after getting 6 in the head point blank in one of our games.

i guarantee you all nothing will be done about velocity / ramping until someone is killed its always the way corporate law dictates that becasue new technology has been introduced, and everyone playing is looking for that edge to nudge them ahead in the competition peeps will go out and spend. and if they are spending the manufactureers dont care ! nothing will be done unless people STOP buying. personally i reckon all tourney guns should run the 280 maxx and bps should not be allowed to exceed 14 -15 (think that is the case) but that is 14 -15 bps not ramping. also head and throat protection should be mandatory i think neck protection should be de restricted! for god sake its a tiny bt of the body which usually is hidden by the marker and mask anyway. its also a very fragile bit of the body which needs protection, rather than worry about paint bouncing (so what) worry about player safety after all without players there 8nt no sport, just empty fields and lots of markers for sale.

just a quick thought for you all, under the firearms act it states that anyfirearm irespective of its classification, if modified in anyway other than to the manufacturers specification instantly becomes a class 1 firearm, which requires a licence ! (technically this would be everyone, even those who cut down feed necks on hoppers) but it also states that any firearm that has been adapted or intended to cause or is likely to cause injury becomes a class 1 . the only probs is fitting this to use of paintball markers. we cap muzzle velocity to under 300, i wonder what velocity dictates a class 1 or even a class 5 firearm? I will find out but it is great ammo for those tourney folk who dont want these gats at their events !
