Maybe I already know after being an IT Systems/network admin for the past 5 years

I've seen a few cracks about that let you change your serial key to a windows XP SP2 key, but I don't condone that. All I was saying is that having an illegitimate copy of Windows XP will not stop you from networking your Xbox or playing on Xbox live.

Well fair point. And again ur right u dont need a ligitamate version of xp to get on xbox live, not that i said you did but i think some1 else may have mentioned it.

Also runnign windows xp PRO would be an advantage as it allows moe networking hands on setup but as has been said buying a router reallly is the simplest, most hassle free option if your not overly experienced in using computers.

Damn right Routers are really the best wat to go, and if you look on Ebuyer you should be able to find a good one
