Related to this issue - less grave - but still indicative of how some british paintballers behave, here is a link to pics of how we found the outside of our cottage, upon returning from the site sunday evening.

I look forward to being contacted by the team or its main sponsor in respect to this matter :)

Nick, I am not going to say who this player plays for now, but would like to say he is not associatted with our team, and if he was, and was proven to be responsible for any wrong doing, he would then no longer be associatted with our team.

I feel I have to make this statement, as your 2nd picture, seen out of context might make us appear guilty by association. A point I hope your not trying to make.

Hi Steve

I actually thought he was on the Tigers, since the identification indicated that, and greatly appreciate you setting me straight.

The pics were not meant to shame the team - but the individual..... I have no doubt that you and the other old timers would deal with such behaviour harshly, as you should, and as such this is not directed at the Tigers.

Pray tell, what team is he on now, as I need to get this sorted out?

Thanks

Nick

i apologies Nick i miss read the first part of your post that said some, not all

i was very disheartened to see the condition of the center parks site sunday morning- teams of all nationalities behaving poorly throughout the weekend.

I was disgusted when we saw the paint on the signs, i didn't see the house with paint on it but some of the guys in our van did. As stated by all it's a stupendously stupid thing to do. How will anyone take paintball as a legitimate activity if it's 'apparently' attended by total idiots without any respect for property or posessions. I really hope this doesn't have repercussions with the legality of paintball in germany, or even europe for that matter. I will be extremely surprised if a centerparcs site ever opens its doors to paintballers again, and as for the venue- i'm sure max have that in order, but they shouldn't have to factor in a cleanup and compensation for off site incidents.

Fortunately, as you will see from the link, one of these idiots was stupid enough to leave proof of his identity, in one of the discarded kitbags, and thus, any expenses we incurr from Centre Parcs for clean up (we ofcourse left the place as we found it), will be sent to the team.

Hmm, on Sunday morning before we played we wook up early to get the whole house cleaned and s**t.. I can asure you that it wasent like that when we left it, It wasent even nowhere near the damn apartment when we left.. I put in the rubbish tip situated at the end of the road. Their was many teams around us and saw us cleaning our crap up before we headed to the site and gave our keys back

And the pass is from last year I play with another CPL team for '07.

Sorry for the problems.

Ehm... this thread is about Russel saying Brit paintballers have behaved badly at Centre Parcs - and this is another instance of that.

- which is why it is worded that way.... in a forum predominently read by brit ballers.

I am certain a lot of other nationalities have the same problems with their young paintballers - and deal with that in the appropriate forums :)

I have many friends in brit paintball - and I am not trying to tarnish brit paintball - I am merely supplying proof of what Russ is saying.

Generally, I do not think this is a nationality problem - but rather an age problem.... seems like many kids that get to travel abroad, have no clue how to behave.

Anyway - I do not want to get into a big debate n a non-issue.... I just want the culprit(s) found and punished :)

Don't jump to conclusions.

Nick, that is one of 2 things you are wrong about. Having known this young man for a few years I thought this was a little out of character so decided to speak to him before crucifying him on-line.
The last he saw of his old kit bag was when he deposited it in a waste skip at Centerparcs, looking at the pics I am going to assume that what might have happened is that someone has grabbed a load of rubbish and dumped it on your front door. I don't know this for sure as I wasn't there, but I am sure that if this guy says he didn't have anything to do with this then I am going to take his word for it.

Nick, don't condone this but won't condemn him

Ok - I am going to go by Steves gut feeling here, as I have known him for many years and trust him - so I guess Jason Wheeler is not to blame.... and appologise if I have caused him embarrasment.

Jason: I hope you see how it was difficult to think anything else, with what we found in the discarded kitbags?

I would appreciate learning if anyone has seen someone dump garbage on the front lawn of cottage 281 during Sunday reporting it to me.

I have a new suspicion now - but cannot make it public
