Germany to ban paintball

What seems funny to me is that they seemed to have picked paintball up as a target for no specific reason.
They say it's to do with the shootings in Germany, but as far as I know that was totally unrelated to paintball
And it's the same argument with violent films and games. Lots of people attribute violent behaviour to these, but theres very little evidence to support it.

Its a perfectly logical reason why they have targeted paintball - politic
We are a small, unorganised body, who doesnt weild as much power as say, the gun lobby in Germany. We are easy pickings to pin the blame on with minimal backlash
All the Govt have to do is convince Joe Bloggs that paintball is to blame - and we are dead in the water
