On the subject of of stupid populist politics I would like to bring up an issue the conservatives are peddling which I think is dumb.
The tax on banks.
Where does that money come from? Its passed on to the customers is it not?
Just like when they have a windfall tax on energy companies every time they do well, then we wonder why our bills are skigh high?
I would stand for independent gassy but I fear nobody would vote for me.
I wouldnt promise anyone anything at the expense of anyone else.
I beleive all positive liberty results in tyrany. And negative liberty results in apathy.

That guy certainly nowhere near as skilled a wordsmith as a party leader should be.
UKIPs proposal of 31% flat tax is also very optimistic low considering we pay about 85% net tax right now.
However It is unfair how biased the media is.
If a green party politician gives an interview they basicly suck him off.
Heres a more pertinent example:
yeah, he didn't really give him much of a chance. but that's sky news for you. The greens don't really get a hard time because most of their policies aren't as reactionary and combative as UKIP or the other fringes. they are a bit more cuddly after all ; )
