footwear for playing on astroturf?

whats the best bet...normal paintball boots?

ive got a pair of digger xtreams but other than that ill have to buy some :(

ive never played on astro before....can ya guess!

theres no spikes on them, they are based on an american football boot i think....
yeah i heard about people ripping their pants, not too arsed about them id rather keep my trace pads in good nick coz you cant get them anymore!

Astroturf tends to have a thin layer of sand over it, not sure if completely flat bottomed shoes are too slippy... never tried. It also feels like u can't slide when u first kneel down on it, but get a bit of speed, and u can't stop! :D

guess ill have to try em out, will wear them to walk the fields on thursday and if they dont work out i guess ill go buy a pair of those new vans

Depends how much grip you have on them if any, i have some trainers which have very little grip on due to wear and tear and i silde all over the place with those, Also the same would be with indoor tennis shoes :)

Astro turf is a bitch. The sand holds water for weeks so you slide constantly and you need astro turf boots really(best for all surfaces) cos with normal trainers you will be on your ass before you get to your bunker :p
