Not so fast, you probably saw the reports, that America is beatin up one its most trusted allies (Brits duh!), after helpin out in Afghanistan when 95% of the world wouldn't.

If you applyin for a new passport and are plannin on playin some ball in America not only do you have to give up a whole heap of personal (PRIVATE) data (inc finger prints, retina scan) otherwise protected by our European Human Rights, we also have to pay them £67 sheets for the inconvenience, what a railroadin! So when my passport runs out in about 4 years time, hopefully I will have seen and travelled enough of the states to never have to go back. What are your thoughts on this?

I really feel sorry for this country as Americans are cool but their politics suck.:D

Typical

Sounds about right to me- we have to pay for them to feel safe.

It is European human rights, and it always seems like the majority of Americans don't seem to notice that there's a whole world out there (until someone threatens the oil supply...)

But just remember, it's not only American politrix that suck... anyone see Tony Blair on the news opposing this security measure?? No? Possibly coz his head's so far up Bush's butt he can smell his breath....

The funny thing is all these airline security measures are largely unnecessary, now. Since the thing that made us go nuts, every American adult has deputized himself to act in the interest of airline sentry. I pity anyone who tries to hijack an airplane in this country ever again.

There is a part of our government that seems really annoyed by individual freedoms.

Sorry about that, hopefully some change will be effected this fall. I wonder, though. It seems like a lot of America is happy under a forceful ruler who doesn't tolerate dissent.
