ok great thanks? anyone now direct me to a good retailer that would ship to Aberdeen, Scotland llol??

Iv heard of dealers you can buy parts from along with your gun and they will add them on for you?? this worth it or is it better to buy it all seperately?

ok well as your going for an ion there is 2 main upgrades i would recomend

1:Q-lock feedneck, depending on what hopper you gun will will need otn off thease

2: Detents, this is what hold the ball in the breech ready to be fired(stops it rolling out the barrel) the stock ones on ion ware down very quickly(i have not used a ion from latest batch they may have made them better)

and the next cheapest upgrade is a QEV, i quite remember what this dose officially but it alows the bolt to cycle quicker so you can lower Dwell on chip-board and make gun more efficient

ok so you need a

hopper ( the bit that site on the top of the gun and holds the paint)

Air/C02 bottle (this powers your gun and alows you to shoot)

ok i just realised this, you want to go to your local site and find out if they use Co2 or HPA (High pressure air) to power their guns if they use CO2 then i wouldnt go for an ion just because the co2 will freeze the noid

sorry if this points been made but i havent read the whole thread .

A spyder rodeo is cheaper than a tipman . based on that i wudnt get one . Also whats the point in having re balls ? youl lose them over the fence when they bounce off things and youl be limmited to a tank of air b4 u have to run of f to your local site for a re fill .

They are reusable! thats teh point! thought that would mean for target practise they would be the smarter choice ?? or normall paintballs the wiser choice?

You won't be able to get co2 from a dive shop only air.

You wouldn't need an electro hopper for an ion as it has eyes but to get the best out of it its highly recommended!

Reballs are best for indoor use, we use them in a hall and still loose some as they bounce every where.

A regulator allows you to adjust the input pressure into your gun. It varies but as usualy around 200psi. The allows you to change the fps (feet per second) that the marker fires at.

Note also reball for target practice - they won't leave a mark so at high rates of fire and snap shooting (leaning out and quickly fireing a couple of shots) you won't see how accurate you are.

Tank wise you'll get 1000+ of a 1.1 4500psi full tank if the Ion is proply set up.
