Nick, i was not presuming to lecture you and i do not profess to know everything. I am allowed an opinion though.

It struck me as strange that you would have been confused as to receiving a penalty for abusive language against one of your players, as you normally are aware/concerned about the image of the sport, and the adherence to rules. Why should this time be different? Because it was your team penalised?

I was not referring to any incidents either, i was merely commenting on the differences between you post and Boogie's post. I was not at the Shock Dux game, and heard of no issues or complaints. From this you can obviously deduce that whatever transpired in the game was attributed no importance by my team as they did not even mention it.

It always makes me laugh that some people link time in the game to game intelligence, but i guess thats how some people are. Does a new player have any less of an intelligent approach to a situation to a player who has been playing longer?

And i was not discourteous in the slightest. When i referred to the "you keep quiet" comment, it was a general 'you'. Meaning an average player. It was not directed at anyone/anything that happened over the weekend. More of a collective "you may complain but it will change nothing" comment.

I was also not being 'youtfully foolish' either, because i was not referring to anything that i had not seen. i was only talking about the differences in your two posts. Boogie stated profanity was not to be accepted, you questioned why your player was penalised for profanity....

Edit Add: I was not attempting to start an argument with you, you just read my post the and misinterpreted the tone.

Nick you did say in one of your posts that the 2min penalty doesnt bother you in the slightest then why are you still going on about it it seems to me that you are taking it personally and anything else said that you dont agree is taken in the same vain why not just leave it take the penalty and move on!!! The penalty has been given deal with it and just kick ass in the next leg of x-ball:D

The guys in Nexus prove new pro players can have an intelligent approach.

Steve, you need to re-think how you put that, both as a representative of XBall and the Millennium...I don't think it is appropriate to talk to one of your customers like that on a public forum....
Steve, just chill out, you ain't the Gestapo, you are the provider of a service that at present we invest a lot of our time and financial resources into....

I have had many cross words with Nick before but he ain't my customer and I dealt with those on a personal level, you are acting as an official here, there is a difference.

Steve, I, nor anybody else would wish to dispute the best way forward is to enforce all of the rules, it's just the way it's done that can make a whole lot of difference.
And making veiled threats of a 'follow' up' against one of your customers when it should have been done in-house, ain't the best way to go about it mate.
You have all the information you need already to have made any decision regarding Nick or his team, there is absolutely no mileage in hanging a Damocles sword over his head for effect.

My refs give their best and work long, hard hours and have to take a lot of abuse. If I see or hear of anyone calling my refs "...a f#%&ing c@%t" you better believe I will do something about it according to the rules. I will look after my refs.

Yes the refs do work hard and long hours, yes they make mistakes, but sometimes you do tell people to sort the problem out themselves, then you change you tact when you want too. Just an observation more than anything mate.

Good work on the weekend tho to the refs they did work hard!

wow, love this, a proper debate with people getting thier backs up.
Don't we all think that abusing people (anyone) in that way is wrong. If I went into a bar and said that to someone I would be lucky to walk out again. If I said xxxxx xxxx xxxxxx to Nick, Robbo or anyone else I would expect a slap. When is it acceptable to do this? Never, in my opinion. We need to show some class. I agree about Nexus. Those guys conduct themselves how Pro's should.
It is not cool to be threatening and abusive, no matter how worked up you are, and if you do there has to be some kind of penalty
just my 2 cents,

god bless refs, wherever they may be! I wouldn't do it for any money!
