It is adviseable to lube every o-ring, even in hpa regs on the hp side. But you must use a specific grease designed to eliminate the diesel effect caused by the very high pressures.

I thought there would be some special greese...but I thought, until someone says so, DONT LUBE ANYTHING!!

You're right to point out that high pressure air and oils/greases don't like each other, but the angel grease is pretty good.
