From what I could see the "dip" in the feilds was even both sides, having not played I cant comment if one side was more unfair which as I said in my first post...
Well a dip going down one side of the field and then going back up doesn't make it a "nice flat field does it"?
scheduling? Well having been there when SEVERAL people including event staff mentioned scheduling problems, yes I thinkso.
I am not sure what went on, we didn't have any problems but i think the draws weren't the best.( as in teams weren't really matched to play each other) as i said we had no problems but this is what i heard.
Marshalling? Well when I was watching I agreed with most marshalls desisions, the only thing I disagreed with sometimes is when I thought people should have been 241'ed or even 341'ed and only a 141 was called.
Reffing was ok not great but ok some dodgy calls but you get that with every event?
I would also like to point out.
All I see in your post is saying you disagree with what I say but nothing to follow up with those points.
BON: i think that you have made your post, so that people think you are actually involved with this event ie making it happen or have some thing to do with the running of it with, your first post with comments like " thanks for this and thanks for that people are just assuming you might have some thing to do with it, that's what i am reading into it maybe i am wrong.
From our point of view.
The food and the marquee was a great food was good and at really good prices you could tell there was a lot put into it.
For the first fed cup it was a good weekend, it seemed like every one involved made a effort to try and make it feel like a special event not just normal 2 day tournament, but for the first time it was a good effort.
