DJ=) gotta tell you you were VERY VERY lucky. That security guy should get sacked. They should not let anyone through with an airbottle and a reg in the handluggage. It´s completely against the rules of flying. I recommend no one to ever try it, since what will probably happen is you get stopped and then you have to go back to checkin asking them to find your checked in bag again so you can put it there and this could take time... Also if you can take the bottle and reg apart just to make shure there´s no pressure in it, or at least empty it.Originally posted by DJ=)
Last year I had my air bottle in my hand luggage.
The only thing I needed to do was to show the security how it works and what it was and that it was empty. I even had the regulator on the air bottle.
And for the guns, we just told them what we had in the luggage and then we needed to wait for a man from the Airport Police so he could check out the guns. He didn`t do much, except telling us that paintball is cool

except you are looking somewhat suspicious to the cops hiding round the corner, looking for drug-smugglersOriginally posted by Buddha 3
I think the problem isn't so much with the guys driving over, but with those that take the plane. That's why I said drive/fly via Holland. There are NO border checks between Germany and Holland...
Nobody's put a gun to your head and forced you to go to this event...Originally posted by pat
