If you mean primadonnas are a commonplace in the upper echelon of tourney ball you would be correct -- though they aren't non-existent in the scenario/Big Game universe.Originally posted by Missy Q
all this condescension to the 'lesser people' of woods-ball definitely has me wanting to join the camo army.
Its certainly the most fun I have had playing paintball. I don't remember ever seeing a ref dragging a kid kicking and screaming (like a little whining bitch) from a woods field while being told how badly he sucks, and that the other guy should have had a penalty, and that he's never coming back again because he had to pay for parking and didn't get his own golf cart, or that he's not getting out of bed for less than $10g, and that the other guys padding was .002 of an inch too thick, or that he wants the guys gun checked, or that the 3 shots on his leg came off the tree/ground/whatever.
No, its easy to respect the way that the silent camo-clad majority put up with the 'hardships' and 'injustices' of paintball, when you see how the priveledged 'Pro's' carry on in todays top leagues.
I am quite sure a paintball comedian would find more to make fun of at the top end of the game. That is before he went out of business and had to go work back down the pit because nobody wanted to pay for his talent and just wanted to be sponsored to be there instead...
Woodsballers rock. I don't care how much paint they shoot, or how badly they spell, or how little sense they make.
Perhaps wwe should have a verbal contest. The woodsballers are allowed to take the piss out of the tournament players, and vice versa. The TFP can judge who comes out of it looking more ridiculous. I am prepared to bet that the Camo-army make short work of the mincing spastics who stand there with their imaginary guns waggling 2 fingers in the air, before doing what can only be described as a series of involuntary twitches with thier head, while screaming in girls voices...
maybe I'm wrong though?
And while I noticed you didn't bring "cheating" into the discussion I would guesstimate that one is a wash.
And you might be surprised to see how many whiners there are among the rec crowd these days but it doesn't rise to the level of the primadonnas, thankfully.
And lastly, if you mean to suggest that way too many tourney ballers are annoying little prats you would be correct.
About that verbal (or written) confrontation though I don't see any great advantages one way or the other.
Btw, Missy, for one of your posts it was unusually accurate.
