I don't think for one second Magued or any of the other Swedes will do anything violent toward Strange, that time has thankfully past and will give a much needed cooling off period for tempers to die down.
Magued's post was simmering with anger as anybody first reading it would have understood but what we should all also understand is, nothing 'physical' is going to happen.
Magued and the rest of the players on his team are stand up guys, they ain't stupid...just offended, greatly offended.
I think an apology is in order here and then I think this will diffuse the situation.
We all know who did it and the reason why, if 'reason' is the real word for it, we just now need to diffuse this situation and if the people who did it are stand up guys also and an apology forthcoming, then I don't think there will be any futher problems.

What Magued altso know: is that if he reports this to the disciplinary committee, nothing will happend - not because the disciplinary committee will not take any actions but because strange will probably not be participating in the millenium next year.
Knowing Joy division and Magued i know they are men who can behave and be wery polite, but if someones pisses them off like strange did - nothing in the world can stop them from taking revenge/any kind of action. And since Strange don't have the balls to apology (So far obviously), Joy divisions combataxe will not be laid down.
And Baco Loco - you speaks wery often for unbiased marshals and so, but what about biased moderators? I thougth a moderator was a kind of forum marshal.

True.....i was one of the judges in all the 3 Xball games at CC, and i can honestly say tyhat i was not bothered who won the event, be it Joy, Ducks, Legion or Strange..........i think that all of the other judges felt exactly the same, and as such there was absolutely no bias at all in the judging.
I think an apology from Strange is also an acceptance of guilt; I am not so sure they will see that as a 'good' step for them at the moment with sponosors to account to.
It all depends what type of people they are, if they are men, they will apologise, if not, they won't, it's as simple as that !

Here are a few facts, but I am saving the full story with photos for Joe Carter from PGI.
- we arrived late to the game
- Mauged passed me on the way to the score table and told me that he WOULD play the game if the judges would allow us to
- the judges said we could play the game
- Mauged then changed his mind and wanted the points
- this made us angry
- this made us very angry
- later we found a blow up doll with a Joy Division jersey on it
- we thought they lost it and tried to find them
- after a long search and a call to scottland yard, we tried to locate the "lost and found" department
- the person in charge of lost and found was none other then "Moose"
- it was a long week for Moose and he looked at the doll with deep loving eyes
- I could not turn over this doll to Moose, knowing what he would do to it. After all he is a top breeding stud in England and this doll was no match
- besides, it was the property of JOY DIVISION,, and it was our duty to return it to the proper owner.
- We arrived at the award ceremony and placed in plain view for everyone to see.
- We hoped and prayed that the owner would arrive.... and they did.
- this made them angry
- this made them very angry
- now they know how we felt
- they know how we felt for a pro team to receive a forfeit from another pro team
- if this were an amateur or novice team, I would have understood the logic in the points and dealt with it better
- for another pro team to do this is very poor in taste. Other teams dream of playing at our level and watch our games to learn and grow.
- was it in bad taste.......... sure it was, but so was forfeiting the game.

So how does putting up a blow up doll with a Joy Division jersey make them know how it feels to be dumbasses for showing up late to the game? Hmmm...apparently there is some weird jump in logic there that I don't understand.
