In all seriousness that freaking raw spot after a day of paintball really sucks! Solution??? Cheap and painless. Take a pair of old socks cut the foot part off and pull the rest up over the knee and there you go! A gaurd against rawness from your pads. Or you can spend your cash on some neoprene knee braces.

i always wear a cup. I gotta keep the legacey going u know. One time i was ont he field and i heard a kid get shot in the **area** and he was wearing a cup and it was a loud sorta POP sound. and he claims it cracked ( i highly doubt it)

I've been shot square in the right testicle on 2 seperate occasions.

The first time round it was kinda free-hanging, blowing around in the wind, like. Paintball hit it like a punchbag (by a punter...I was reffing at the time) when I went in to check a player.

Second time was during a tourney at Hamburger Hill at Bristol. Kinda squished it against my thigh.

Both instances hurt like nothing else I've felt before in my life (except for the nipple piercing... if you haven't had it done yet, and people try to tell you that it doesn't hurt that much, hit them very hard and often until the cry...), but I would have to say that the free-swinger actually hurt more....

...maybe it had toughened up a bit before the "Squishing" incident.....hmmmmm...

Still don't wear a box though. I'm either well'ard (steady....), or just plain stoopid.....

Although that said I reakon getting shot in the nut hurt more then a nipple peircing and the tattoo's, actually I kinda liked the tattoos being done, can't wait to get another

this not being some thing I have personnaly experiecnced I wince in sympathy and offer a hug to any afflicted players I have seen a few some act hard and like it's ok and did not hurt. Others hit the deck and cry like babies. Not some thing I would like to find out about. Boob shots are bad enough and no were near as bad as you guys get it.

Pete - please god, no spandex ... I won't be able to look at you right at the 10man next weekend .... oh god, the humanity (does no one think of the children?)

Anyway - I use to use Trace kneepads - but found that they kept sliding down and ended up as shin/ankle pads. Now I'm using the Renegade pads and life is good again.

Ive always worn a box when on the field even taking piccys cos paint bounces off supair bunkers well.
Strange as it seems i wear 2 tight under kecks,1 to hold the cargo tight in place then the 2nd one to hold the box in place.
Mind u even with the box all things aint ok tho.I got shot point blank range(6-8inchs away) inbetween my upper leg & box that was protecting my nads,which missed the box & hit the nerves that responsed with the nads.I wasnt screamin or owt but put it this way i was walking back to the dead zone in disscumfort & a bit of a limp for a 2min rest in safety. .
Damn if it happened at the right tourney id maybe got a hug out of it.Worth it! ,id show the same compliment sparklie if it happened to u
