How will the "finals" happen - what are the draws?
I am wondering if 1st place in pool A plays second in pool B and 1st in B plays second in A - or will the teams be seeded according to points?

Mike Ratko, NXL commissioner, has confirmed to me that they plan to have the World X Ball Championship at the World Cup. They are still working out the details and the scheduling.
I will post something as soon as decisions have been made.

It's not a dig at you personally, but a shot at the series in general - if you can look at yourself in the mirror and say that what you have done is 80% for the players then that's all you should worry about

I think you also understand (I think I can read it into your answer) that it isn't always easy to judge what is best for the players in the long run compared to immediately, especially when you're up to your ass in crocodiles.
It's easy for me to say, but I sincerely believe I pass the mirror test, especially when I get into hot water with people who are my mates or are my colleagues because I do sincerely try to do what's best for the players I'm serving, both in the short term and the long term.
Obviously political bull**** is a gigantic hindrance to the players' interest. It would be great if everyone had your set of priorities instead of what we've seen in our little world just in the past week. (And I DON'T mean any discussions we've had here.)
