epiphany problems

hav dried fired basically same affect as with paint
so even with eyes off the firing is still intermittant (sp?) ?

if that's the case then it is not your eyes that are the problem - one thing to take off the list of possible culprits.

would recommend you try my suggestion, making sure that it is a brand spanking shiny new high quality battery (read: duracell procell).

also, is there any sign of any internal leaks when you gas it up?

how much lube (and what type) did you use, and where did you put it?

when you say 'cuts out' and 'wont fire' what do you mean exactly, does it cycle at all? or does the bolt not move full stop? can you hear anything if you listen closely when pulling the trigger and nothing happens? i.e. the solenoid activating?

no internal leaks that i can hear but as i said above when i take the velocity above 230fps from under the electronics, every time i pull the trigger i feel a small release of air but nothing apart from that i cant tell right now as i dont have the gun so im just going on wat i can remmember, and no sign of internal leaks when gassing it up only when trying to fire it.

Whip the hopper off and look down the feedneck.
Does the bolt go fully forward when you get these problems.
If it doesn't, it could be that the dwell (how long the bolt stays forward each shot before being pushed back) is set to low which would also give the limited ball speed as it doesn't have enough time to push the required amount of air out.

I suggest having a look at page 9 and 10 of the epiphany manual, which shows how to adjust the dwell and recharge rate.
