when you say "velocity" are you getting this from a chrono or from the psi guage on the side???

and as for whats a banjo , i really dont know how to explain it but it looks like this:

Totally right, just downloaded the manual. I always thought the epiphany was an ION in disguise so assumed it was the same pressure wise.
it is essentially - but with a variable volume fire chamber to up the operating pressure to reduce drop-off.
along with a different reg spring, a nicer trigger, better on-off switch, freak barrel, and on/off asa as standard......

right thanks guys im getting the velocity from the chrono, and the banjos are fine , the only othe thing i can think of is that i damaged the wire conecting the eyes to the board as theya're well fiderly ow and im using the green insert (the origional)
tried dry firing with the eyes off?
green insert - set for around 220-240psi to start with. then follow the manual for the dwell optimising process. make sure to use a new fresh battery.
and as swiss tony alludes to - the epi will run best with an HP input (800-900psi) from your tank.
