Keep STB at Elsham

Its like fish and chips and salt and vinegar, they both go together.

The actions of a few, dont reflect the thoughts of the rest of us.

This event was a great 2 days paintballing. My team and I had a great time.

Jon, Please stay as an event organiser. The sport needs people like you.

For future events, maybe event staff walking round all day, making sure players act as they should. Might be a good idea?

It seems that the right thing for Jon to do is to stop running tournaments. There hasd to become a point where the threats to end stop, and the action begins. It seems a shame that the warnings i read about after the last event have been ignored, and the stupidity of some continues.

Importance needs to be attahced to the feelings of those involved in running the series, health and sanity issues that far outweigh the benefits of running an event.

jon you have my sympathies, i hope that everyone is sympathetic if you decide to stop totally.

sam:)

THANK TO ALL THOSE ZAP TEAMS
Have you got any proof Ronnie? Any tests? Companies arn't going to change their paint because the 'mighty' Ronnie Hollington says that it stains! Did you tell any of the teams that their paint stained? Tackle this problem professionally and provide some solid evidence. Until then, keep your outbursts to yourself!

Maybe you should see this thread for some inspiration!!!

I have been shot many times with Zap and Cyclone in oink that has stained my skin. The proof is that i know what teams shoot, as they usually have the sponsor logo on their shirts, and it stains my skin after i have been shot. What more do you want.

Now put your dummy back in your mouth, lie down in your pram and take a chill pill!

Just because you are zap sponsored does not make your paint non staining. And if you knowingly shoot staining paint, then you are a major part of the problem, perhaps more so than the paint manufacturers who make the paint in the first instance, because you know what the paint will do, yet still shoot it!

We don't know it stains. There is other pink paint on the market, and assumed it was one of those. Its not like we ask people after we shoot them if the paint has stained and that is one of the major problems. No dummy was spat out, it just seemed like Ronnie had no proof. Maybe if some info was collected and presented to Zap, they will looking into the situation.

Diablo had the same problem not so ling ago, and sorted it out, I cannot see Zap being any different. After all, its in their best interests to rectify the problem.

shuck thanks for putting me on a pedastool ;D and Shuck zap knows it stains trust me it has been mention to them they have been making paint long enough to know that pink tends to stain for the last 10 years i can recall pink being a staining colour.

diablo were good enough to sort out there stainning problem in europe. pink has a history of stainning to get a strong pink fill the chemicals put in the paint stains. the 2 other compainies i know of who have had pink paint in the past have stopped selling it in europe.

it is zap if the paint does not wash of your hands even with soap it stains.

"The reason pink paint stains becuase its not a primary colour so u have to use more pigment to get the colour pink, which is made up of 3 other colours infact. This makes it more expencive so to reduce the cost of the ball its a oil based paint as it binds better with the colouring. water based paintballs are more expencive then oil based and stain less."

This is what i have been told by a paint manafacture.

sorry to high jack the thread here ;(
