Ego Vs PM5

A stock PM5 coust about £100 less than a Stock 05 Ego. Seing as it's 06 and they both have new models out.
Still not £300 difference brand spankers though

I've shot both and think they are both great guns. The Ego is a fashion accessory while the proto is a cold hard killing machine
Yes the proto needs a clamping feedneck but most people have asa on/offs so no biggy there and a millenium chip is only a tenner. The difference you save in cash just buys you an ultralight frame and some training days. For the cost there is no better marker than the proto be it 05 or 06.
As for tech support, who needs online manuals when the proto booklet is one of the most comprehensive i have ever seen. Plus it's one of the simplest designs i have used. Only two things ever go wrong. And they are down to the battery or needing new o rings.
If you do manage to brutalise it then the boys at dye or heaven paintball are as good as they get.

have to say I sold my custom annod fully upgraded Cuba SL66 so I could buy and shoot a second hand proto 06 with ultralite frame ....they are the nuts
of course this is down to personal preference nothing to do with gun quality ..as it ALWAYS is ..
i personally find it easier to shoot accurate strings with the PM6 I dont find the ego that accurate but TBH I know **** all they dont seem to be doing XSV (to name one) any harm
if you prefer the feel of the PM, go for it.... i think thats what its all about when you choose a marker .
