erm, well 'a spec of paint' - my eyes carried on working with a complete burst in the breech due to an overzealous reloader - and as for shutting down, they've never done that...ever. And size matters? methinks not, they ARE the strongest eyes in the industry. And aren't some of the best players the smallest ones? :D And with the trigger i wasn't referring to how easy they are to tinker with or adjust the magnets minutely, i meant more about how they feel to pull. I've tried a couple of egos, and the triggers genuinely did feel awful - but then again, like you said, it is down to preference, and what you're used to i suppose. And i'm also aware that the ego has a huge following, so they must be doing something right. Just not for me.

oh, and we're in England, so it's my two PENCE worth :p

very poor statement to put in a gun v gun arguement. neither gun is more or less acreate than the other, the barrel and paint are the considerations to take into account when looking at accuracy. decent paint and decent barrel will make any marker acurate.

my ego matched with nelson anarchy paintballs is the most accreate gun i have ever had, yet if i put other brands of paint throught it, some tend to go all over!

Known 2 people now who have bought 2 ions brand spanking new and have had to send them back to be fixed within a week (and yes pinki i know the tigers ions are not like this :D). Even when sent back they still didnt work very well. Been poppin' paint with an ego for a while now and my god, those things rock the brizzle. Have had next to no problems with mine, touch wood, and intend to keep using it until planet bring out something better, which i doubt as the ego has surpassed perfection and dominted the marker industry ;)

In conclusion get an ego!

would have to say ego.

smart parts triggers are terrible, i have never shot a shocker or a nerve fast at all.

i have always found that sp guns break paint far more than any other gun as well.

the ego is the lightest and the smallest also.

tbh the best gun is the one that you feel most comfortable with.....or which ever looks better.

btw the way fades and 2 tone are out. all blacked out or camo'd is the new in.

dude

fades suck arse,

all blacked out is the way forward, any fool can see that.

who wants to see a black, purple, pink, green, yellow, white, blue, mauve, apricot, plum fade

oh my god you suck

plus camo means you cant see it, so no one can tell if your ramping or not

If you are worried about the ego being a bit hard on paint then put the DART bolt in. This is great bolt I used it in my ego6 at the last NSPL (SE) event when it was very cold(had to scrap ice of the bunkers in the morning) and had to use rec grade paint(as team I guested for had some deal on and they would not let me use my own) but I still did not break once all day and I got through the best part of 2boxes and got great accuracy with the stock barrel.

Have to say I have not found a paint that does not shot great through the ego, and I know thats not true with my shocker.

Also don't know what the air consumption is like on a Nerve, I know it is VERY bad on a shocker, but the Ego is unbelieveably efficient can go for a good few games without having to refill off a 4500fill.
