For the record its definitely an 06 however -
it has the standard 06 frame
it has the standard 06 eye covers and feedneck
all 06 guns came with these to start with
even early nexus guns had the "standard" 06 frame
the upgrades to the 06 "star" frame (as seen on the dark ego) and the clever feedneck were gradually rolled into production on the Nexus (called 06.5 or some such to distinguish them as having these updated parts) - around the time the XSV 06 EGO was rolled out in favour of the XSV edition SL66.
planet made a few of these before switching to the SL66
there were limited colour runs in various combos (remember purple / red / ninja etc anyone?)
So fair play to the seller this is a fookin bargain
