ego 06 xsv set up f/s

Geeze.

Sorry to spoil your thunder but the gat in the pics (well the one I could make out) is an 05 xsv not 06. All xsv's for 06 are SL66's.

I would tend to agree, that it was a last of the run 05 body with the 06 Frame.

If anyone can link to an 06 XSV on Planet that looks teh same, please do so.

Would also appear to have the original eye covers, rather than the Nexus style ones they have now.

The body is the same as mine...also doesnt have the C Clamp feedneck.

As I said...my guess...last of teh 05 Bodies etc, with 06 frame and grips.

I thought that when they brought out the 06 XSV (which they did) before they made the SL66 it was basically just identical (sp) to the 05 except for the frame ..have to agree with danny here

Which is exactly what I said...they had to do something to get shot of teh spare 05 bodies they had didnt they.

in fairness to danny, planet were advertising them as 06 XSV's so he is correct in his description ...simon from alpha one was selling one recently.. they are legit


BTW ..does it use the fat base or the small base detents ?
