And speaking of dogs, do you hear the baying in the background? Can Robo be far behind?
Not so much Pavlovian conditioning as being relentlessly consistant in my approach. This makes me somewhat predictable (if not hypocritical) :p

As for Robbo interceding all I can say is Cry Havoc and let Slip the Dogs of Paintball :D

Dickysixx, looks like you are doing well for yourself!

What are you using now or going to change to?

No i do not want the Angel back, the sensitive trigger scared me to death, I shot myself more times than I did the other team!

hahaha

I just thought I'd reply to see what would happe, basicly the inevitable LOL!

Sorry, all this' all markers shoot the same distance at a given velocity, is garbage!
Um.. I hate to disagree (no I take it back I love to) but it really, as has been said) about the physics.

A paintball has an air resistance, relative to its speed and cross section. And the atmospheric pressure

It has momentum due to its mass and its velocity.

It has an initial velocity

It has an acceleration towards the earth, of 9.8 meters per second per second.

None of this has ANYTHING to do with the paintball gun! I would guess that the reason your mates can out range you is because they are shooting at greater velocity...

The only other variable factor is to do with trajectory, this is all to with the barrel, the flatline does increase range, but (I am told) at the limits of it's flight a flatlined paintball moves really slowly. Paint in the barrel will cause the paintball to spin and will increase the drag on the ball etc.

Hotpoint, Manike etc will probably be able to tell you more about the trajectory thing, but for the most part the only important factors are velocity and angle of trajectory (how much you angle your barrel up), that's it.

I'm still using the Angel- and I'm very happy with it too. looks like I'm going to go back to the cocker though as it would look a trifle odd playing with a WDP toy whilst wearing tops with "Belsales" printed all over them.

That trigger is deadly, like you say. i've had some close shaves, but my toes are still there!

:p :p :p

Maybe because when an autococker is fired the bolt is absolutely stationary. If the bolt is absolutely stationary the the ball does not have much forward momentum when fired. Would that mean the ball is closer to the firing source? Would a ball fired closer to the firing source (touching the bolt) be more consistent than a ball fired farther from it?

When talking about accuracy...

When talking about accuracy of paintballmarkers...

Could it be possible, due to ROF or "Open Bolt/Closed Bolt", that some markers would have a better consistancy during rapid firing than others (Design of marker has influence on accuracy/consistency)??
