Duplicate Accounts?

OK so what do you guys think of duplicate accounts?

I'm guessing that the general feeling is that people who use duplicate are too weak to post under there usual login name.

So why not bring in new rule to the forum that duplicate accounts will not be tolerated and Ban people who do so? What do you think mods? its a policy adopted on a few other boards!

Well, it's not something that I'd feel bad about doing (banning them, not having a duplicate account), but can you imagine the logistics? Everytime someone logs in, we'd have to check IP addresses......
It's easier (and more fun) to uncover them when it happens. You know, strip away their fake identity and make them stand in the corner with a sign saying 'dumbass!'.

It's not that hard to check IP's of new accounts posting in controversial threads...

But some people want to make points anonymously, I'm not sure if I respect that wish or not.

Manike, I have no respect for the anonymous posters. I'm pretty sure a few will start popping up soon with the current controversy.
