Ah puppy paint, ...Black outside lovely pink....er light purple fill. Back in 89 that was. Lovely paint compared to the crap the site was selling.

Nice dog it was "named " after, Tyger can you remember it's name cause it's bugging me. It was Chris Idema and his german shepard ????

Now that's gonna bug me!
Lemme see, some hstory...

is name was "Keith Idema", actually. Hi dog was "Sargie", and wasn't a sheppard, I'll go find out what it was later.

I have about, wow, 4-5 ICS vests for tubes and pods, but mind you at the time we used 45 round pods. And the stomach pod belt? WAY ahead of it's time. IMHO. I'll post pics. :)

And Puppy Paint... Shot NIGE and straight. Broke on things like telephone poles, and knocked over trees. :)

Ah t's all coming back

I knew there wasn't something right about that name....memory isn't what it was.

sargie, of course.....thought the pics made it an alsatian/shepherd type dog but I'll happily bow to an expert.

was probably a wolf from the press at the time

:D

Quick edit..based on Tygers info www.sargie.com lists him as a tibetan shepherd

Lovely animal, hope he's stil doing well!

Oh my goodness... He's got a web page....

Ok you old school junkies. A little more schoolin'

This is Keith Idema (R) with Gino of NPS. Remember this guy was a force in paintball when it was more a woodsy macho "Regan-can-kick-your-ass" time.

This is Sargie, a pic I recognise from a long time ago, actually.

Ahh, the old days...

Almost back on topic...

What's this crazy unbranded paint from Ireland that T-L keeps referring to?
Does it by any chance come in plain brown boxes, bagged into 24x100ball bags, with no labels other than shell and fill colour?

Because if so I encountered some 2 weeks ago and it was absolutely frightening - the 3-inch bullseye bruises have pretty much faded but a couple of them have left scars. I don't think the punters will be coming back for more of that - even I was a bit put off by having them bounce off my goggle lens from 20 feet away.
Certainly a valuable educational experience - I'm buying a neck protector and will be wearing two layers of clothing everywhere from now on....

Nah, that's the stuff that site in Manchester uses, 68 calibre rubber bullets.

No kidding saw 'em in Planet on monday, don't fancy getting crocked with one of them at 300 fps. Would make Chronic look nice:p

WHAT? you guys never played with 50 cal.
Those little red pills would bounce off the
wall you could pick them up and put them in your gun and shoot them back, could be done 3-4 times
before the *******s would break. Tthis was my first experience with paintball in 87, playing
indoor in a maze useing crossman 357 replica
paintball guns on 12grams. scarey stuff when I
think what we used as eye protection, the field
provided welders grinding shields, if someone shot you from behind the ball could actually come into the shield, hit it and flip it up. Talk about welts, I was laying down behind a bunker reloading
(six shot cylinder had to be loaded by breaking the gun,do that in a hurry) when a guy ran up and
leaned over and shot me in the nards. Talk about a purple helmut!!
