i will have to try it lmao, i more simply like the look and feel of the larger markers like my BT Omega, i like the realism of them, thats why i got it in the first place if im honest. i think the speedball markers just seem all the same, and so small they look a little daft. So much choice its hard to know what to go for unless you actually try them all yourself and see what you prefer.

the one thing with my BT that i hate is the range, the balls start to dip after maybe 10 meters, no clue why, hense why i was going to try out the apex2 to add the long flat shots into the equations

ive just been thinking, ive been using cheap rec grade paint, i wonder if i spend an extra £5 for the Celtic Druids which are tourament grade, if i would get much better accuracy. never even thought that it may be the paint im using lol

i guess since i've spent £180 on a mask and jersey and only that much on the gun ive rather over spent where its not that important. If this marker can last me till September i guess i could go and invest £400 or so on a new marker, give myself a while to make sure i actually am into it properly. Just dont have any clue on markers, especially since most are speeadball style which are just too cramped for my liking
You spent £180 on a pair of goggles and a jersey.... holy crap

I think you need to have a word with yourself

Lmao, i got some dye I4's and a dye jersey, the mask i justify because i should never need another and its needed when i martial, the jersey.... well that just looked nice and goes with my dye i4's so impulse buy :) i was even consering buying the dye armor and pants but thats over 200 and i dont need it, cant justify that

This is still one of my cheaper hobbies so if you think thats bad you have no idea lmao

I would have spent 60 notes on the goggles and jersey combined. Rest would have gone on the marker... or other playing kit. The three tops I wear most cost less £50 in total. I would rather spend my cash on paint to shoot than the latest fan boy jersey.

Yeah the paint will have something to do with the accuracy. And did I just see Realism and Paintball in the same sentence? The two shouldn't even be in the same paragraph ;D

Lmao, looks like i will have to put up with my marker and tank till september. will try it with some more expensive paint. I think i will keep it and give it to my brother when i buy my new marker lmao, or sell it to my cousin ;)

Now i have 3 months to sit around and find a new marker.... I think i will need every second of that time, i spent 3 weeks looking at the omega before i brought it. Accuracy videos i saw it should get way better range then it does so i will have to have a good look at it

Just to say if you get a 'torny'style marker most have regulators on them so it means that you will get more consistent shots I.e. More landing in the rough same area. Also it means your markers slightly more air efficent, which will help. If you had a Bravo one then you would of been able to get a flatline barrel for your range issues. :)

I was looking at a Tippmann X7 Phenom E-Grip - Assault Edition which has a 300psi output so much have a regulator built in, ive heard so many people say tippmann are good but the barrels are rubbish. Its either that style or a tourney which i would rather not have, i cant even use my omega without holding my hand over the shroud so i can hold it further away. i now have a couple ive found that are larger gun like models. Heres my choices at the moment with links to show

i love the looks of the Tiberius, but by the looks of it, the marker is normal HPA so lower shots, no e-grip, and no force feed loader

the phenom i like, but doesnt look great. the force feed loader is a lot better along side having the e-grip, also operates at 300psi so much more shots

BT is better looking then the phenom, has a 200psi operation so very high number of shots, has an e-grip

Right, a couple of things, none of those guns are regulated I dont think (correct me if im wrong) And the cyclone technology is nice, but bear in mind it also uses air to turn it. Therefore using more air overall. On a clamping feedneck like the BT one, just get a decent electric hopper such as a Rotor and it will easily outdo the cyclone.
