Or as mentioned earlier..

Get a marker that's less of a gas hog or shoot less paint

I find pump play wins hands down on both counts ;)

right i just had a look round. IF i have dual tanks i will need to go for a tactical vest, with 2 bottle holders, 6 pots, plus i will have to get the hoses made and buy the second tank, all in all around £190 which is a lot. Justpaintball will do me a 1.1L 4500psi PMI tank, high pressure, for £145.95 so decrease there by rather a lot, and i can keep my current 3k tank for home testing in my back garden

The only issue i can see now is if i can get the tank filled up. I will have to go to work and ask the guys there (phoenix) :) once ive added in my tip aswell im talking a good £200 for an upgrade which is a lot but ooo well, already spent about that on my dye i4 and dye jersey

just checked the phoenix website and found something ive never seen before on any website, i had to search the tank manufacturer just to know who they were. the company is "SAFER" and they make all sorts of air cylinders, here's the link from phoenix, i will have to check and see what people think as they do a huge 2L tank for £180 which is really cheap

Just get a 1.1l tank from here with a couple of years left on it, will set you back about £80. Already a saving of £100 if you go for that last option. Then, using that £100 and whatever you gain from selling your current marker, buy a marker of here with a high efficiency. Even presuming yours is only worth £100 atm thats £200 to play with, that will easily get you something like an invert mini, ion etc

Oh, one more thing, if you are currently using a milsim type marker (A5, BT etc) they are blowback. Elec markers get so many more shots per fill :)

i can only use manual at my current site if i want to play with normal players, i.e. friends without their own markers.
just checked and my marker has dropped in price a lot, its only £120 brand new now but its only been used to play twice, so in total its been used maybe 8 hours since new, but i dont think anyone will want to buy it. especially since i threw away the packaging about 4 hours ago :(

i also dont know what a good replacement would be if im honest. When i first went for the marker i had over £200 to spend yet everyone recommended it. i need a longer marker due to my size and build (im 6' 5" and have long arms) but i'd rather buy new

right now i just cant justify replacing my marker to save £100. if i want a woodsball marker with the size i need i have the following options

Option 1:
£320 upgraded BT in the form of a BT Delta Elite which is the exact same internals as my BT Omega
A second hand 1.1l 4500psi HPA air tank for £80
If i get £100 for my gun thats still a set back of £300

Option 2:
Keep my current BT Omega
Buy a 2L 4500psi HPA tank for £180
An Apex2 tip for £41
BT rip clip for £73.30
Thats a total set back of £294.30

still rather close but thats a large amount of money to spend considering my entire setup right now only cost me ~£215

i guess since i've spent £180 on a mask and jersey and only that much on the gun ive rather over spent where its not that important. If this marker can last me till September i guess i could go and invest £400 or so on a new marker, give myself a while to make sure i actually am into it properly. Just dont have any clue on markers, especially since most are speeadball style which are just too cramped for my liking

Dont be put off by the size of tourney markers at all. Im 6 foot with long arms, I even rocked a mini at one point... They are really comfortable to use. Try talking to your site manager about their not allowing electric markers, im pretty sure if you convinced them that you have it on a capped semi mode it will be fine ;D

i work for the site so that would be easily done lmao. the martials i work with run phoenix and are almost all in tournament teams so their a good lot to ask for help :) and old parts lmao i will have to have a look really, they have some good markers, but currently their way out of my price range.

If they play tourney, and you need swaying on a new gun, just ask to borrow one of theirs for a game or two. Believe me, you will change over instantly ;P
