It is mis-information like this thats gets people all confused. You can use an HSE tank with no problems in the US, I have been doing so for the last few years....the other way around IE a DOT tank getting used here is the no no. Blame our rules for not allowing it both ways, for a change the american system appears to be the enlightened one, plus I do mean as a visiting national using a tank certificated for use in that persons own country. It's going to be interesting come Campaign time as H-Pac seem to be doing the fills and as they have made a very strong stand against the filling of DOT tanks under any circumstances....Originally posted by Albercent

well theres lots of speculation about this but basically its safe to say u cant use DOT in the UK or HSE in the US..

Well in theory whoever supplies the air at any event in the UK should not fill DOT bottles. H-Pac are just following the law by not filling them, and they are the ones who could be put out of business if they are caught doing it.Originally posted by Mark
