so heres a thought... most of this fourm is based in the UK so there is no interest for DOT bottles and they go for silly prices, do HSE bottles go for next to nothing on the mostly US forums?

I can't say that I've ever seen one for sale in the US. Maybe that's a reflection of my narrow universe or maybe it just means that there are very few (if any) of them here in the States.
I think the chances of finding a HSE tested bottle in the States is very slim. Think about how many US players there are compared to UK players and (just a guess) most of the bottles are probably made in the States anyway.
yeah i was thinking that, lucky for the people in the US, it would be well worth coming onto this forum and getting a cheap DOT air system even considering the postage etc. to get it to america

What is the difference between HSE and DOT tanks?? I was under the impression that HSE was just a European Safety Standard like DOT is for the US.

it is but both standards are illeagl in the other country...
well theres lots of speculation about this but basically its safe to say u cant use DOT in the UK or HSE in the US..

Yeah I saw a HSE bottle on ebay a while ago, at least year. Noone bid on it, but it was goin pretty cheap, $40-50, maybe noone knew what it was i dunno...
i dunno...
Yeah i was thinkin about gettin it, but decided against it. Are there any major differances between DOT and HSE? dont they both use compressed air?
