I remember hearing that when the very first semis came out. So if there was no skill the (what..back in 1990?) there is definitely none left by now :p :p

The game's just evolved. Its different skills now. e.g. In the past, camoflague was a big thing...now its generally appreciated that it doesnt count for squat.

Mother, is that you?
C'mon Jon, I've played for 15 years, and now some 15 year old first timer can... what's the expression..... 'own me', with a marker his dad bought a week ago.

Where's the justice in that? Do you know how much money I've spent on paintball in the last 15 years? It's not bloody fair I tell you.;)

How about an upgrade system like I get with my mobile phone...You own your marker for a year then pay £40 and get it upgraded to a state of the art one. Meanwhile, your old marker gets shipped off to some third world country where paintball is just emerging. Everyone's a winner.

;)

Mate, pop on over to Amsterdam with the rest of the p8nt pack. There's a stack of stock class toys at my beloved sponsor's office, so while the rest is playing on blowuppy type fields, I'll get you a game organised in the woods. With proper villages and bunkers to storm and all. I might even throw in a fifteen year old to shoot at, if you want. :D

Now apply the train of thought that we are a 'real' sport, and then apply your arguement to any other sport out there.

The younger guy is more than likely to 'own' you cause, quite frankly
We are younger, faster, and we pracitse while you sleep.
Oh yes, we also do not play well with dinosaurs, it seems they have aproblem with losing.

I love this whole size & colour thingy :)

I buy expensive toys, cause if the money lies around it gets spent on the woman, and that just will not do, MY cash, MY expensive toys :D

I vote Big Dog for the 'aint got a clue about irony' award 2002.
