I guess Rob is kinda referring to some things happening before their game vs us = Generation X on the Kingman field
and i must say
i feel for the Impact UK guys though
because in our match vs them
after the prechronoing we had to wait for about 10 minutes till our game finally started
and when it did we got the markers down call,
and all markers had to be chronoed
and what happens one or two markers of the Impact UK Team were above 300 fps ( i suspect it were Angels and we all know how the creeping Reg can effect the first shots )
so the result was that Impact had to start with three people in
the deadbox
I don't know if clearing shots were allowed or just one shot went over the chrono and as a result the penalties were given ?
but the rules do state
19.6 If the head judge decides to chrono an amount of players right before the start of the game he will announce “markers down” to the players. All players must lay down their markers without operating a switch or shooting. Players operating switches or shooting will be eliminated from play. The following chrono-procedure will be done with the “red” radar field chono on which the players checked in with exactly two clearing shots and a single (the 3rd!) shot which is the official result of the velocity check.
and then there is allways a chance
u can also be chronoed ingame with a handheld onfield
and their reading can be off around + 15 fps compared to the radar chrono's
so setting your marker above 290 is taking a risk
And when u are playing with a creeping Angel reg it's another chance to get above 300 +Fps when your marker is set above 285/290 when fieldchronoing before the game
but in general
i don't think the marshalling was as good as the previous Mill events though
ok it seemed one or two marshalling teams didn't show up and might be a valid reason
But hell when a chronojudge needs a hopper and +2 pods to find bounce on a marker and still clear the marker to be taken on the field what on earth was he looking for ?
