Dive Tanks - "Shelf life?"

Cheers guys...

I've taken a look at the stamp and I can just make out 99/09...so i'm wondering whether the test certificate is as a first test after manufacture, or is it likely it's been re-stamped?

It actually is completely untouched, I contacted the guy and (ok, so he could be sales pattering) he told me that he deals in Government Surplus and that that is where this have come from. So it would seem it's been sitting in some Government warehouse since it was manufactured. I'm going to send it off for a full test as soon as i've emptied it (and with that £10 He shipped it filled!!! ) our local fill shop on the Island is run by a friend-of-the-paintballers, so luckily I know I'm going to get a frank response!

yeh, 200 bar is low, but this is going to be baby bottle of three for four of us to use at our local site and I only use a 0.8l 3000 preset, so it's enough for me for one or two full day's playing at recball :)

Just a thought people but could this be an ex-firemans air tank?
