This thread wasn´t about the refs to be honest ?

BUT speaking of refs and rules: The rules ARE actually the same for all divisions and all players should be penalised equally ! THAT is exactly the reasons for the inconsitency of the reffing, don´t let them "adjust" the penalties just because they are reffing a lower division - if everyone were reffed and penalised equally, there really would not be much to complain about - everyone would be treated the same on the field !

The ONLY problem we have about the reffing is the inconsistency !!!

I also have seen players been taken off the field due to BPS but when the reffing calls come down to allowing some on the field while it is illegal for others the only real reason would be because they are mates or are are the same nationality or sposnorship as those players who are allowed to play with illegal equipment (markers, masks, etc).

If you want to look at how the reffing problems in the NPPL were affecting their league look at the teams who are not playing it anymore. This can be taken to the same degree even if it is not just reffing problems, if any league does not resolve issues teams will find other places to play.
