An E/D for a game of 1 can be a 1-0, 2-1, 3-2 and 4-3 score

Yes thats right Nick so going by the conversion and that the game ended with a result it would be 4 - 3. This system only works for games that were actualy won within the time limit.

So if your drawn on points and ED at the end of the tourny it goes to how many points you scored in total over your 3 prelim games? is this correct? and what is next if that is the same?

DUDE! - you don't understand me - I'll try a different way:

The teams are tied for match wins
The teams are tied for E/D (goal difference)

Next tiebreaker is how many points (hangs) they have made OVERALL at the event.... and as there is no way of knowing if they scored 1, 2 or 3 in a game they lost with MINUS ONE - there is no way to find out which team takes 22nd and which 23rd - without the actual game scores.

Thats is what im trying to say. If the game did finish with a team geting to either 4 or 5 before the time ran out you are able to find out the exact game score - this will only work for games that were won before time NOT for games that were won/draw due to the time running out on them.

We may be geting confused some where down the line but ive checked the system with the games i knew where won before the time was up and i was able to get the exact score within that match i.e 5-0 lose, 5-0 lose and 5-1 win as we did in Toulouse.

Ahh wot wot the heck i know who we have in Germany due to no ties etc so who care lol. For those how'd like to know its:

But how would I know which ones were won before time, which ones saw the last point not posted because the team eliminated the others and let time ran out - and which ones went the distance?

ah cool, i was underf the impression that Over Time was only used in finlas and 3rd - 4th play offs.

I think we need a up to date CPL/SPL rule book but up as its time like this us people in the dark have to guess at things

Thats is off course that there isn't already one up some where as i cann't see it for the life of me on the millennium web site.

As far as I know the rules is the same as last year - small adjustments in the format in CPL (turnovers for example) though..... Correct me if I´m wrong?

I almost don´t dare asking: But did you read the rules from last year? I do believe the "overtime-thingy" is in there? Hehe!

On a serious not i couldn't see much if anything about CPL in the rule book ..... it was a quick flick threw mind
