Nope on that front. Just because the outside looks ok doesnt mean the inside is. HP air Kills!!!!!

Fibre wraps can withstand a bit more abuse than steel and dont corrode either. Aluminium bottles are better than steel for corrosion, but isnt aluminium more brittle than steel? Cant remember now, use to know when i was at uni.

remember that next time your in a airoplane...seriously steel and aluminuim there are many different alloys and grades ...a fibre wrap is lighter thats about it...chip that wrap and you will have a problem passing the test

Thats the reason there making the new Boeing 787 out of carbon fiber. It doesn’t corrode like standard planes and the passengers won’t be as jet lagged.

Isnt that to do with time zones and putting your normal body routine out of sync?

thats what I thought. The new airbus is made from carbon instead of aluminium because its lighter, tougher and doesnt corrode.
