ha.. no i uderstand the concept involved ,my lack of reply was more to do with the fact that it seems un-affordable even at a low level so that being the case the rest is just information to absorb :)

is there really a ninth axis or are you just being a prat
There is indeed a nine axis machine. No idea how it works nor do i wish to know how it works. Way too much intelligence for me.

the ninth axis splits the space time continuim (sp) so you can mill things that havent even been invented yet...

J,
0If your wanting to remill stuff,Personalise markers get a lathe,I have a Clochester student lathe right now and its good for one offs,Prototype that we do for the bike.
I would like a CNC machine but really they are pretty hard to use,Difficult to learn and I can warrent one for one offs and protypes.
Defo chevk out the lathe option mate.
thanks
Stephen

right this is what i want to know

for example

I have a stock 03 shocker body and i want to cleanly and professionally chop bits off of it and channel grooves in it and mill eye/detent sockets out of it, basically customise stock bodys iI dont actually want to produce marker bodys from a lump of metal its really just for some more expensive fun and I personally enjoy ****ing about with things.

What do i need ? ...no prizes for saying 'a life'

You'll need a much bigger and more accurate machine to attempt remilling markers. There are a lot of complex angles needed to get a reasonable looking mill on a body, which will require a good machine.
