January Issue arrived at my door this morning.

Just one question for the PGI staff... Page 28. SC Village thread. Who came up with the "Hotpoint, Team Moral Crusaders" bit then? :D

I'd pitch for TJ. Am I right? ;)
Must be. Everyone else knows it should have been 'Hotpoint, Team Willing Heel of the Oppressor's Jackboot.' :p :D

As for the rest of you whiners perhaps you could rouse yourselves to contact the subscriptions peeps and get things squared away but, no, that actually makes some sense. Besides, you're all up to date on PBUK, right?

Erm, yes I have emailed subscriptions about not receiving the December issue but have had no reply as of yet (mail sent 20/12/2003 15:28) And no I'm not up to date with PBUK but may well be next year :p

Far be it for PGI to pass the buck, but in this case the Royal Mail does not appear to have provided their normally efficient service. If anyone has not yet received December please contact the subscriptions department, provide your postal address and they will send you a replacement.

Happy New Year to you all!

What 5 out of 8,000?

Oi, these aren't mailed out of my bedroom you know. pgi Jan issue is on sale on the correct day and was dispatched from the subs house on the correct day. Unfortunately we can't do buggering anything about Christmas and the Post Office, believe me, I would if I could.;)

Now, Mr Imp, let's talk seriously about this land you've got.;)

Cro, email me and I'll find out why you haven't had a reply when I get back to work (although I would imagine it's cos they've had a million emails from a million different mags asking why their subs haven't turned up over the Christmas period).

Hotpoint - I take the blame/credit.

Thanks Rancid, I realised that there has been some sort of slight problem and that what with xmas holidays I may not get a reply till new year so if I don't hear anything by the end of next week I'll give you a shout.

Given a choice, from a fashion point of view, I'd prefer the jackboots... strictly a style thing you know... nothing sinister or anything ;)

Mental note 1. Order all-black playing kit for the team

Mental note 2. Move Baca higher up the list. He knows too much

Praise from Caesar himself? Maybe I'm starting to attract a better class of mockery. Things are looking up :p

IIRC the Royal Mail loses an average of about of 500,000 letters a week, and it's much worse this time of year. Oh yeah My PBUK subscription is up to date now. Arrived this morning. PGI just pipped it to the post ;)
